Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.

Andrea has been in front of our cameras many times and a loyal client to our former business, NSP Studio, so when it was time to level up her coaching business last year, we knew she would be a perfect fit for our Signature Service.

From Andrea’s lips / fingertips:

“I’ve been a longtime client of NSP, so it was a natural progression to work with Embolden when it was time to rebrand not only my photos, but my entire branding suite. I needed clarity on how I was going to translate this newest evolution of Andrea Holland Coaching. I was moving from a place of 10+ years of the same brand that had a lot of brightness, fun, and accessibility to it, and that was very successful, but I knew it wasn't going to get me to where I needed and wanted to go.

I knew that the Embolden team could take me to the next level without eradicating my old brand. Some brand experts will do that - they’ll throw away what you’ve already got and try incorporating something completely new for the sake of it being ‘fresh and new and pretty.’ But I wanted to amplify + build up the newer elements into a brand that not only looked good, but that would have a high ROI.

“Having worked with Natalie in the past, I trusted in her delivery, however the investment I made with Embolden would pay itself off by the beginning of the next quarter.”

“She was able to take elements I already had, fine-tune it and make things MASSIVELY better. It had the brightness and fun from before, but now felt more elevated, elegant, polished and commanding. Not only did Natalie help give me total clarity on the mission and language around the work that I do and the promise I make to my clients, she helped me understand more about my brand voice. She helped bring to life this idea that I had in my head, and actually took it way beyond where I thought it could land.

She also helped eliminate a lot of the fears that I had surrounding a rebrand –

If I change, will people still like me?

If I change, will people still buy from me?

If I change, who am I going to make so uncomfortable that I will knock them into my sphere of competition?

If I shine too bright, who will notice me and come for me?

Those were my big fears. But I felt completely safe and protected throughout the entire process.

I could be my most vulnerable self, my brightest self, my most ambitious self. And Natalie was going to find a place for all of that in the new brand. It was never going to be toned down. I was never going to be told, ‘no, you shouldn’t do that.’

Everything landed right in its place. And of course, within the first quarter of the following year, that brand took off - and continues to take off. It's paying for itself now.

Every time I left one of the prep sessions, I felt more confident and capable to take the next big step for my business – whether that was launching a new service, creating a next-level experience for my high-end clients, being unafraid to dream big and try things that I've never done before, and revisiting the ideas that I used to have when I was brand brand new in my business, but had long forgotten about because I've gotten so inundated with operating my business. This process gave me permission to revisit those big ideas again.

One ‘aha moment’ I had was during the styling session (aka wardrobe raid) - I remember being so nervous about everything. I've been styled by wardrobe stylists, makeup artists - you name it - for over 20 years. Never have I felt as comfortable as I did with Natalie + Nina, where I could allow someone literally into my home to go through my stuff and be like ‘try this on.’

Suddenly it was like a key to a lock - just completely unlocking this willingness that then made way for confidence.

And then curiosity came in. ‘What if I tried wearing this? What if I wrote this section of my website like this? What if I charged that much? What if I started offering this service or tweaking this experience for my customers and my clients?’ And that curiosity made way for me to expand out of my comfort zone – to start innovating and trying new things.

And then once we got to the day of the photo shoot… I mean, DAMN. If y’all don't know how to make a girl feel like a queen. I was blown away from literally the moment I got out of my car to the minute I exhaustively got back into it to drive home, because there was so much that happened that day, but they made it seamless.

Natalie and Nina made it easy. And I am not an easy person to work with - I don't ask for help. I know that I don't always tell people what I need, but they anticipated it. And they never backed down, even when I got tired - they gently pushed me into aiming higher for myself. And when I looked at the finished product, it blew me away.

Even after the photoshoot, I was still sort of anxious until I saw the proofs, but I realized that what I was really nervous about wasn't how I looked. It was about becoming this new ‘thing.’ And could I stand in those shoes confidently? So when I saw the images, I realized I can never go back to playing small again.

No one's ever going to believe when they see these images that I ever played small. And so now I have to charge my worth. I have to command more space in the room. I have to walk taller, I have to walk louder, bigger - and it's not going to be a hard stretch because I’m already doing it. Look at the images. There's the visual proof.

Once I had all the finished assets and put a proposal together for the first time, it was like going into a bank account and just getting money because I knew that no one was going to say ‘no’ to my new brand. I knew once they got the proposal, and decided to take a look at my website or things ‘behind the scenes’ - they wouldn’t find any cracks. It’s all done perfectly, and I don’t have to worry about it.”

Problem:
Andrea was a regular of ours at NSP Studio, so she had several up-to-date headshots to use for her social profiles, simple website bio and some marketing materials for speaking engagements. However, she didn’t have anything more involved that would support her brand story - nothing that showcased what it FELT like to be in a 1:1 coaching session with her, or in the audience of a conference where she was blessing the stage.

Solution: The entire team (Natalie, Nina, CoCo + Keely!) geared up and did a full shoot day, photographing Andrea around our studio and at several off-site locations, including a venue with a stage so we could really capture her in her element. We provided her with 350+ images that showcased her vibrant (and hilarious) personality that could allow her audience to emotionally connect. We also captured PLENTY of b-roll footage that could be used across her social media platforms.
